The service

STEP Certified provides online curriculum and learning tools to schools. Access is through accounts your school controls; your school's own policies for acceptable technology use apply alongside these terms.

Accounts

Sign in with the account your school issued you. Do not share your account or attempt to access records that are not yours. Schools may suspend or remove accounts at any time.

Acceptable use

• Use the platform for coursework and teaching.
• Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.
• Do not misuse the AI tools; conversations are moderated for school appropriateness and are visible to your teacher.

Content

Course content on the platform belongs to Tech Cleanup, Inc., to the school that authored it, or to third parties who licensed it. Openly licensed images and embedded videos carry their own licenses and attribution. Content is provided for instruction, not for redistribution outside your school program.

AI-generated material

Some lesson material and study help is generated with AI and reviewed by teachers before publication. It can still contain mistakes. It supports instruction; it does not replace your teacher's judgment.

Privacy

Student data handling is described in our Privacy Policy and our Student Privacy and FERPA notice.

Service changes

The platform is provided as available; features may change as it improves. Material changes that affect schools are communicated to them in advance.
